Dear Cougar Nation,

For the past twenty years, I have been blessed to serve the students and teachers at North Putnam High School.  For the past ten years, I have been entrusted by the North Putnam Community School Corporation to serve as the principal of North Putnam High School.  During this time, I have been proud to be a part of the success and accomplishments of our students and teachers.  While it’s difficult to compile a complete list of the accomplishments over the past ten years, some highlights would include:
-          North Putnam High School being ranked as a top 20 Indianapolis area school by US News and World Report.
-          Partnering with The Castle for various programs, including North Putnam the film.
-          Being named Region 8 Principal of the Year in 2019
-          The addition of a 3rd Agriculture Educator
-          Continual increase in course offerings and dual credit/AP programs, including the development of North Putnam’s Indiana College Core program.
-          Implemented and expanded the North Putnam JAG program
-          Leading the area in academics and seamlessly transitioning to Graduation Pathways, which provided our students more opportunities to prepare for their post-secondary goals.

While I will be leaving the role of principal, I will not be going far.  On Wednesday evening, on the recommendation of Superintendent Dr. Dustin LeMay, I was given the opportunity to continue to grow within our district in the role of Director of Community Partnerships and Operations.  Through this role, I hope to be able to support all North Putnam principals and students, utilizing my skills and the relationships I have built over the past twenty years in Putnam County.I appreciate the opportunity provided by Dr. LeMay and Board of School Trustees and look forward to the new challenges that lay ahead.  It has and will continue to be a “Great Day to be a North Putnam Cougar!”

Respectfully yours,
